I teach Junior and Senior High School Classification 4A Type your answer here: No, I have never received a salary supplement for teaching choir.
I teach Senior High Only School Classification 7A Type your answer here: We are currently in the process of "re-vamping" our stipend schedule. At this time, the stipend is a set amount. We are moving to an index that is based off of your current salary (not the base).
I teach Junior and Senior High School Classification 5A Type your answer here: I receive a $1600 stipend. We have a stipend scale based on levels of afterschool committments.
I teach Junior and Senior High School Classification 7A Type your answer here: Yes,it is a percentage of my base salary
I teach Senior High Only School Classification 7A Type your answer here: Yes. My supplement is an amount that was determined by the district salary committee and school board. It is not based on my teaching salary and it is not on an index.
I teach Senior High Only School Classification 5A Type your answer here: No, but I can turn in professional leave forms for all events that are outside the normal school day and be paid by the district for the time involved.
I teach Senior High Only School Classification 3A Type your answer here: My stipend for choir is $1,000 total. That means if someone else is hired, I have to share that with them. I believe that this is determined by the school board.
I teach Junior High Only School Classification 3A Type your answer here: I do not receive a stipend. I am also the elementary music teacher.
I teach Junior and Senior High School Classification 3A Type your answer here: Not for choir directing, but for being the assistant band director. Obviously I do lots more as choir director, but that's the way it was worked out years ago so I'm just going with it. I think it's 5% or 7% of my salary.

I teach Junior and Senior High School Classification 3A Type your answer here: No
I teach Junior and Senior High School Classification 3A Type your answer here: No I don't recieve a supplement. But I find it funny that the band director does and the only thing that we really do different in our programs is that I actually teach more classes and do more lessons and rehearsals outside of the school day than he does. I'm also expected to have my group perform at school functions(graduation and bacchlaureate)and the band is not. So I don't really understand it.
I teach Junior and Senior High School Classification 4A Type your answer here: I received my first stipend after being in the same district for 16 years. My superintendent at the time agreed to make the stipend equal to a month's pay (at that time) after I explained the additional days for me were during the school year, not an extended contract circumstance. The stipend has been increased twice in the last 12 years when percentage increases were made by the district to the salary schedule. I believe it was a fair agreement and did not obligate me to additional days outside the regular school year.
I teach Junior and Senior High School Classification 2A Type your answer here: NO! I do not receive a salary supplement. I am interested in reading the responses to this question.
I teach Junior and Senior High School Classification 4A Type your answer here: No, I do not, but I receive hourly compensation for events outside of school. Ex. all region, concerts, etc.
I teach Junior and Senior High School Classification 4A Type your answer here: I am on a 9 and 1/2 month contract and get $500 extra for junior high and $1000 for senior high-
I teach Senior High Only School Classification 6A Type your answer here: I have no input in how my supplement is determined My supplement is more than anyone else that receives one except for those who are on an index plus a stipend - I have asked twice and have not been answered. The assoc. school supt. checks with other comparable districts-I know that my stipend is on the low end of other "comparable" districts. This past year they changed the page for those with index plus stipends (supplement) to say Band Directors and Athletics only- I guess so that I can no longer ask for that. More than you asked for I know!!!
I teach Junior and Senior High School Classification 4A Type your answer here: Not at this school for CHOIR, since it's a new program, and I'm only teaching 2 choirs per day. I do receive a $2000 stipend though for teaching a college-level music appreciation class on CAC's campus for our high school students who want to get it for college credit.
I teach Senior High Only School Classification 7A Type your answer here: I am paid $25.00 an hour for required events that occur after the school day, up to a maximum of $200 a day. After school rehearsals and such don't count on that, but events like All Region are $200.
