Mentor Training
 
"Vision" Conference
     
Beginning with the 2006-07 school year the ArkCDA implemented a mentoring program for new teachers in Arkansas. To qualify as a mentor teachers must have a minimum of five years experience in Arkansas and must complete this one day training session. (NOTE: Please refer to Article IX of the ArkCDA Constitution and Bylaws to note additional requirements for serving as a mentor.)   This workshop will cover all aspects of ArkCDA; a complete "under the hood" examination from how it is organized and structured; from regions to officers, tryouts and clinics as well as CPA's.The purpose is to determine which policies work and which might need to be revised or amended to offer better services to our teachers and students.
 
Both sessions will be conducted by Craig Jones, ArkCDA President, Tina Niederbrach, ArkCDA Past President, and Tom Street, ArkCDA Executive Director
     
Each session will begin with registration from 8:30-9:00 a.m. in room RPL 232 of the Ross Pendergraff Library and Technology Center at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville and will conclude at 3:00 p.m. for a total of 6 hours instruction in each session.
